Career Month is a series of events in April for students to attend, and make connections with employers. During this month, students can get their resume reviews by both Career Center staff and also employers. The idea behind these events is for students to be open to the possibilities and connections that they can make.

Starting off the promotion, we needed a theme for the event as we knew the slogan for this year was "Be Open To The Possibilities". Whatever the theme was, it had to be able to relate back to the slogan. Below was the initial sketches and ideas of myself and other students of what they think of when they hear the slogan. 

After reviewing a few different thumbnails, we decided to move forward with some initial design roughs (shown below). We decided to continue with the idea of the open window and after further design, we created the finalize version (shown at the beginning). 

Followed with the different promotion for the event, a website banner design was needed for the Career Center website with an exact size of 960px by 200px.

Although all the events within the month was virtual, a flyer was created as well to promote the event for those who were living on campus. The icons were redesigned with the colors being similar to spring colors, as that was when the event was taking place. A quarter inch margin was taken into consideration since it was to be printed in house. 

Within the month, there was a particular event that was connected with another organization. The event was called "Career Paths for Graduate Students". A series of promotional pieces were created to promote this event including a flyer. 

In order to raise awareness to the students that were attending classes at home, we created a series of Instagram posts to help promote the event. These posts were to be posted a week before, the day before and then the day of. 

Following these posts, every Sunday, a new post would be made to highlight all the events that were to be happening that week. Every week, there was an industry that were to be focused on except the first two days of April. For the background brick colors, the colors were chosen base on the color scheme that was used for the flowerbox.
